Applicants must be a current active member of 4H or FFA and be eligible to sell an animal at The Norco Fair, Jr. Livestock Auction. The applicant must be applying for this scholarship in their graduating year of high school, and must have initiated the application process to a post-high school institution.

Two recommendations must be completed, one by the student's 4H Club leader or FFA advisor, the second should be completed by a teacher (not an FFA or 4H advisor), school official or by a non-related adult of the student's choice. Letter of recommendations need to be emailed directly to norcolivestockscholarship@yahoo.com once the application has been submitted through ChapterNet.

An applicant may only be the recipient of the scholarship on one occasion and the decision shall be considered final. Announcements of the awards shall be made at either the annual awards banquet for FFA/4H or at The Norco Fair, Jr. Livestock Auction. The amount to be awarded will be determined by the Norco Dollars for Scholars awards committee and will be based on the amount of money on deposit in the scholarship fund.

Funds will be paid directly to the applicant's post high school educational institution upon verification of enrollment. Funds will not be issued to any individual. If a student fails to collect their scholarship funds within three (3) years following the date of the initial award, the funds will revert back to Norco Dollars for Scholars account.
